1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all cleaning services provided by Sweetened Cleaning Services ("the Company", "we", "us", or "our"), whether booked online, by phone, by email, or through any other means of communication. By booking our services, you ("the Client") agree to abide by these terms in full.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time, and such changes shall apply to all future services unless otherwise specified in an active written contract.
2. Service Rates & Booking
2.1 Regular Domestic Cleaning
- The minimum rate for regular domestic cleaning is £18.00 per hour (excluding VAT), with a minimum booking of 3 hours per visit, per week.
- For advance contracts, the Company reserves the right to deduct agreed commission charges while the contract remains active. If you terminate a contract early after making an advance payment, commission may still apply.
- Clients opting out of advance payments agree to a standard rate of £16.00 per hour for at least a one-month contract. If the service is cancelled after the first or second session, the rate will revert to £18.00 per hour for all sessions worked.
2.2 One-Off and Spring Cleaning
- Clients must inspect the completed work and report any issues within 24 hours. Late complaints will be reviewed at the Company's discretion and must be supported by valid evidence.
- If you are dissatisfied, you must allow our team to return and rectify the work. Refunds will not be provided if we are not permitted to complete the back job.
- During booking, you must provide accurate contact, property, and payment details. A booking confirmation will be sent in advance of the scheduled cleaning. If you wish to cancel, you must do so before the scheduled cleaning begins.
- Clients must ensure safe storage of fragile or breakable items and provide access to electricity, hot water, and other utilities necessary for cleaning.
2.3 Insurance and Equipment
- Our cleaners and company are fully insured and accept responsibility for any damages caused during cleaning, provided we are notified promptly.
- We supply standard cleaning tools and products. Any special equipment or products required will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
- For carpet cleaning, we are not responsible for any pre-existing damage. This will be clarified before work begins.
2.4 End of Tenancy Cleaning
- End of tenancy cleaning covers only the items and areas specified in the signed contract. Additional services (e.g., walls, windows, patios) may be arranged at special rates upon request.
- The property must be unoccupied during end of tenancy cleaning.
- A deposit of 50% of the total fee is required at booking. Cancellations require 48 hours' notice; failure to do so forfeits the deposit.
3. Payment Terms
- Remaining balances must be paid promptly once services are completed and you are satisfied with the results.
- Failure to pay outstanding balances on time may result in interest charges and recovery costs.
4. Inspections & Complaints
- Inspections should be carried out immediately after cleaning.
- If you are not satisfied with the results, notify us immediately and allow us the opportunity to resolve the issue through a back job.
- If you do not permit a back job, all claims for refunds or compensation are waived.
5. Public Feedback
We value honest feedback and strive to resolve any concerns amicably. However, defamation or misleading reviews published on public platforms may be pursued legally. We reserve the right to recover related damages, interest, and legal fees if necessary.
6. Recordings and Documentation
- All phone calls may be recorded.
- All work activities are documented and available for your review upon request.
